We’re thrilled to announce that Concordia University, in partnership with the École de technologie supérieure (ETS), will co-host the 92nd ACFAS conference in May 2025.

Welcoming thousands of French-speaking researchers, the annual ACFAS conference is the largest multidisciplinary gathering of its kind in the Francophonie. Its mandate is to celebrate and promote the world-class research being conducted in French by scientists and scholars in Quebec, across Canada and around the world.

The collaboration with ETS comes at a significant moment, as both our institutions will mark their 50th anniversaries over the next year. We are also extremely proud to embark on a partnership that reflects our shared values of innovation, interdisciplinarity and experiential learning.

While the ACFAS conference will physically take place at ETS, Concordia will co-lead the development of the scientific program. The event will provide an opportunity to feature some of the exciting research happening across our faculties, schools and research centres. At the same time, we look forward to shining a spotlight on the critical scientific and scholarly contributions of the worldwide, French-language research ecosystem.

Home to a vibrant francophone community as well as many faculty, students and staff who commonly use French, Concordia is a natural fit to co-host ACFAS 2025. We invite you to join us in celebrating this special occasion and contribute to the success of this marquee event.
