At its November 22 meeting, the parties at the bargaining table reached an agreement in principle for the 2023-26 Concordia University Faculty Association (CUFA) Collective Agreement.

On December 7, CUFA’s council recommended that the agreement in principle be sent for membership ratification. The ratification vote takes place between December 8 and 14.

The agreement will come into effect as soon as all parties sign the new deal, and will expire on May 31, 2026. The previous CUFA agreement expired on May 31, 2023.

The CUFA negotiating team was led by Linda Dyer, professor in the John Molson School of Business’s Department of Management.

Nadia Hardy, deputy provost and vice-provost of enrolment and student experience, led the Concordia team.
