Clive Thompson will join Concordia professor Mia Consalvo on January 28 for Thinking Out Loud 2016.

I move very, very slowly. Though I write about technology — supposedly an ever-changing subject — I write mostly magazine articles that can take anywhere from a few months to a year and a half to write. It means I'm almost never the first person to weigh in on a high-tech subject; I'm slow! But it also means I get to spend a lot of time researching and interviewing dozens of people before I write anything, so I get the time to think deeply about it.

Join Mia Consalvo and Clive Thompson for "Games, Ethics and How We Connect," on January 28, at 6:30 p.m.

The event is part of Concordia's Thinking Out Loud 2016 public conversation series. The two experts will discuss how games help us connect socially, the ethics of communications technologies and the impact of online technologies on our off-line lives.
