Most volunteers are dedicated to a cause. They don’t give their time to get recognized, but their efforts promote the cause they care about, tells them their efforts are valued, and inspires others.

Any Concordia student, faculty or staff member can be nominated for a Concordia University Volunteer Initiative (CUVI) Recognition Award. Details on how to nominate a deserving volunteer are available through the Dean of Students Office here.

The nomination deadline has been extended to Friday, March 4. Recipients of the award will be acknowledged during the Concordia Council on Student Life’s Outstanding Contribution Awards night, on April 7, 2011.

For more information or to find out about volunteer opportunities, contact Concordia’s LIVE Centre at 514-848-2424, ext. 5573.
