A group of caring Concordians has organized two Valentine’s Day events, one on each campus, in support of the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Québec (HSFQ). Their mission is to raise money for research into heart diseases and for activities that promote healthy living.

This Valentine’s Day, February 14, proudly wear red and drop by either the Atrium of the Engineering, Computer Science and Visual Arts Integrated Complex (EV Building, 1515 St. Catherine St. W.) or the Atrium of the Richard J. Renaud Science Complex (SP Building, 7141 Sherbrooke St. W.).

From 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at both locations, information about heart diseases and heart-healthy eating tips and strategies from Concordia’s Health Services and the HSFQ will be available. A registered nurse will be on hand from 12:30 to 2 p.m. to answer questions.

From noon to 1:30 p.m. in the Atrium of the EV Building, Concordia’s Le Gym instructors will lead a spinning class demonstration and talk about the many benefits of cardiovascular exercise.
