  • The Montreal GazetteCBC (text) and CJAD.com join media coverage of Stingers football quarterback Trenton Miller's push to publicize concerns about hits to the head in varsity football. In related coverage: Radio-Canada.ca (reprised by MSN Sports) and TVA Nouvelles report that the Réseau du sport étudiant du Québec (RSEQ) is reviewing another hit to the head sustained by a Rouge et Or player in the same game and releasing its response today; Le Journal de Montréal and Le Soleil report that Rouge et Or head coach Glen Constantin has stated the issue of hits to the head has been an unwelcome distraction. 
  • Animation World Network announces that the short, End of Recording, by Mel Hoppenheim School of Cinema students Lukas Conway, Stefan Jaroszonek and Olivier Sommelet, has won the award for Best Student Animation at the Ottawa International Animation Festival.
