• The Montreal Gazette runs the first in what will be a series of articles featuring the Stingers women's rugby team. Team captain Jenna Thompson and several players are quoted and a video clip of the team in training and in play is included in the online story .The Gazette says it will follow the team throughout the season, which, for the Stingers, begins with a home opener against Carleton University at Concordia Stadium on Sunday, September 17.
• The McGill University French-language student paper, Le délit, reports on Sunday's Stingers men's rugby 38-10 win over McGill.
