Senior U.S. officials have confirmed President Donald Trump is pulling out of the Paris climate accord. Tesla’s founder and CEO, Elon Musk, has said if that happens, he will resign from the White House advisory councils on which he currently sits. The move comes just as a new report co-authored by more than 70 Canadian university researchers is urging Canada make a move away from oil production to becoming a low carbon energy leader. One of the lead authors, Damon Matthews, can outline the urgency for world leaders to act on climate change.
