Federal government exploring 'blockchain' technology
It was announced on Tuesday, February 28 that the Federal government was interested in exploring 'blockchain' technology. The system is the basis behind bitcoin, a digital currency, and the technology is being touted as the foundation for the next generation Internet. Jeremy Clark, assistant professor in the Concordia Institute for Systems Engineering, is a blockchain expert and can talk about how Canada can become a technological leader.
