- Several Quebec media outlets report on Saturday's 42-20 Stingers football loss to the Université de Montréal Carabins, setting up a Dunsmore Cup final between the Carabins and the Université Laval Rouge et Or: Le Journal de Montréal, Le Journal de Québec, RDS (video and text), TVA Sports (video and text), La Presse, le Soleil, Radio-Canada (text, reprised by MSN Sports). TVA Sports filed a pregame text story focusing on Concordia Stingers half back Jean-Guy Rimpel. The Stingers defeat is also reported in a Canadian Press brief oicked up by Sportsnet.ca,Life in Quebec, USA Online News and Hamilton News.
