- The Toronto Star publishes another in a series of news articles about chemical spills and other pollution in Canada, notably in Saskatchewan and in Ontario's Sarnia region. The paper credits a group of Concordia and Ryerson journalism students, working on a collaborative investigative journalism project, featured in the National Observer.
