Trump press conference

On Wednesday, January 11 Donald Trump held his first news conference since November’s U.S. presidential election. Trump spent the majority of the time defending his refusal to sever all family ties with his businesses and attacking news organizations for reporting on intelligence reports that allege he was compromised by Russia. Graham Dodds and Mireille Paquet, both professors in the Department of Political Science in the Faculty of Arts and Science, can weigh in on what Trump’s stance signals about how he will function as president.
