- On 14 February, MIGS staff Kyle Matthews, Marie Lamensch, and MIGS fellow Michael Petrou will attend a closed-door event titled “Contributions to Democracy Support: Past and Future” hosted by Centre for International Peace and Security Studies, the Konrad Adenauer Stiftung and the Canadian International Council.
- On 28 February, MIGS will co-sponsor the event “Tibet and International Law: Challenging China’s False Historical Narrative on Tibet”, in collaboration with the Raoul Wallenberg Centre for Human Rights, the University of Ottawa’s Human Rights Research and Education Centre, the U.S. National Endowment for Democracy, the Canada Tibet Committee and the MacDonald Laurier Institute. The event will take place in Ottawa and will mark the historic international launch of a landmark report on the status of Tibet in international law. To register, please do so here.
