MIGS Calls on UN Rights Chief to Help Halt Looming Iran Execution

MIGS's Executive Director Kyle Matthews signed a joint letter to the UN High Commissioner to save the life of Iranian boxing champion Mohammad Javad Vafa’i Thani who is facing imminent execution for taking part in the anti-government protests in Iran.

"These political executions are a callous attempt by the authorities to frighten and silence an increasingly restive population no longer willing to accept their corrupt and oppressive rule."
