The 28th edition of the Jeux franco-canadiens de la communication involved 25 students and was a tremendous success for Concordia. In addition to winning third place overall (of 9 universities), our Concordia delegation achieved the following rankings from the 13 thematic challenges:

  • 2 gold medals (Balado/podcast and Développement télévisue/television development)
  • 2 silver medals (Gestion de crise /crisis management and Scrum politique/ political scrum)
  • 1 bronze medal (Show culturelcultural show)
  • 2 delegates chosen as Jury's favourite

“The experience is incredibly rewarding; not only do you have the opportunity to meet with mentors, interact with professionals from the field and attend masterclasses, but you also meet a group of friends that become your family. My teammate and I had a blast preparing our podcast Les Pirates du terroir, which focuses on home produce and alternative agriculture, for our category: podcasting. The competition itself was a rollercoaster of emotions, and we're happy to say we won our category, contributing to Concordia's 3rd place overall finish!”
