How do we ethically engage with AI? From policies to personal preferences, we have seen AI take hold in the lives of educators and their students, with varying support systems to deal with it. We’re inviting you to a networking event focused on sharing and discussing how people are ethically using AI in our own practice and the practice of learners.

First we will talk with Dr. Jennifer Garard, the Deputy Director of the Sustainability in the Digital Age ThinkTank, and Meaghan Wester, the Responsible AI Co-ordinator at the Applied AI institute. Both will share their work, thoughts, and concerns before we jump into an informal game session.

Drop in over the course of three hours as we continue the conversation from the week prior. Whether or not you came before, work together to discuss ethical directions we need to consider and take with AI. Enjoy live interviews with stakeholders, play a game teaching about it, and share your thoughts and approaches. Together, through play and conversation, we can see the practices of others and consider what steps need to be taken.

How can you participate? Join us in person by filling out the form here or online by registering for the Zoom Meeting or watching live on YouTube.
