Future Shop gets rebranded under Best Buy
Over the weekend, Future Shop shut down 66 of its stores and will be converting most location under the Best Buy brand. Future Shop is one in the latest in a series of closures in Canada, including Jacob, Mexx, and Sony Canada. Robert Soroka, lecturer in the Department of Marketing, can talk about how the closure reflects the changing face of Canadian retail.
