Graduate Religion Student Association (GRSA)

The GRSA is all about meeting and spending time with fellow students. We organize social events throughout the year, such as parties at the beginning and end of each semester, snack bars, coffee houses, and movie nights. Our goal is to create opportunities for students to take a break from schoolwork, hang out, and get to know one another outside the classroom. The GRSA is your go-to for all things social in the department!

Check out our website and Facebook page for info, photos, and upcoming events.

The department's graduate students organize a major conference every year. Centered around timely themes such as "Religion, Activism, and Social Change", "Body, Gender, and Sexuality," and "Religion, Ideology, and Violence," the conference attracts students from across Canada and the United States to present and share their research. Serving on the organizing committee is a great way to meet and work with fellow students while organizing the department's largest yearly event. It takes a village to plan a conference and we welcome new volunteers to serve on the organizing committee every year!
