EMPLOYERS

The Institute offers employers multilingual, high-achieving, motivated and well-prepared students from approximately 70 undergraduate and graduate programs. Since 1980, we have worked with a wide range of reputable and diversified employers across Canada and overseas.

 

Our partnerships range from large multi-national corporations to small and mid-sized companies, as well as entrepreneurial start-ups, non-profit organizations and government agencies. See who we partner with.

Information about the Institute

Institute students are available for full-time paid internships:

  • Minimum of 35 hours per week
  • Internships start in September, January or May and can last between 12 to 17 weeks
  • An internship must be a minimum of 420 hours in duration in a given 4-month term
  • Possibility of extending the internship to an 8-month commitment
  • Internships must be remunerated (see our salary guidelines)
  • Employers partnering with the Institute to hire interns can benefit from significant tax credits
  • All the services we offer to employers are free of charge
