Highlights of projects completed this summer

• Student ID card: A revamped presence for the Student ID card just in time for new students, including the possibility to submit their photo online for their ID card!
• Sexual Assault Resource Centre (SARC): A more streamlined yet comprehensive web resource for those who have experienced any form of sexual violence. There’s also a new “Quick exit” button for increased discretion.
• Black Presence hub: A brand-new subsite with lots of valuable resources for empowering and supporting Black students.
• Campus life: UX research uncovered big improvements for the “Campus life” landing page. Now, this top-level page has a fresh and engaging look and feel.
• Experiential learning: A revamp and refresh for the landing pages with special attention for the “Hire a student” page geared toward employers.
• Centraide: Concordia’s annual campaign for supporting Centraide got a complete makeover to engage and clearly inform the community on how to donate, set up a payroll deduction and win amazing raffle prizes!
  
• Food & dining: Check out the appealing redesign and compilation of food-related content into one centralized page including recommendations on places to eat, affordable and emergency food resources and where to find microwaves and vending around campus.
  
• The Institute for Research on Migration and Society: The IRMS launched its bilingual website that highlights its role as a hub for pioneering immigration research at Concordia.

5 resources to keep your content up-to-date

• AEM component guides: This documentation is regularly updated to reflect the latest improvements, so keep watching for updates.
• Add a social media image for thumbnail previews: When you include a great social image, it's likely more people will click through to visit your page.
• Link English and French pages: The AEM language toggle allows you to link a page to its alternate language page.
• Boost your web traffic by writing a Page Properties description: A compelling meta description is essential because it helps people connect with your content.
• Make a translation request for your web content: Any changes to the English pages must be made to the equivalent French pages.
