It will all work out eventuallyEndings are always bittersweet. From your first year to your last, it never gets easier to deal with the chaos of wrapping things up. Between finals, moving from residence to an apartment or starting a new summer job, there are always changes that come with the transition from spring to summer, changes that sometimes go unnoticed because we’re so used to the rhythm of life, to the constant hustle. Once the stress of exams, moving and projects is over, I like to take a moment to reflect on the term, both academically and personally. I’ll look back at how I handled difficult or new situations: a bad grade, a fight with roommates, a tough conversation with friends, or the start of a new relationship. In doing so, I think about how much I’ve changed, recognizing the growth that’s happening alongside the term that we sometimes let go unnoticed. Yael |
