Tuesday, May 7 — Online

When: 10 – 11:30 a.m.

There are many career possibilities once you graduate with a BA – but where do you start? Join this workshop to explore career possibilities with a Bachelor of Arts degree and understand the critical factors that contribute to your career success.   

Facilitator: Barbara Tremblay, career counsellor

When: 1 – 2:30 p.m.

As a BSc student or graduate, you may have a wider range of career opportunities than you realize! Join this workshop to explore the career possibilities with a Bachelor of Science degree and understand the critical factors that contribute to your career success.   

Facilitator: Shadi Asadollahi, career counsellor

When: 3 – 4:15 p.m.

We'll discuss how to highlight and communicate the many skills you develop throughout your degree. Learn how to tailor your resumé to attract employers –  with or without experience in your field.

Wednesday, May 8 — In-person, GE-110, Loyola Campus

When: 10:30 a.m. – 12 p.m.

This workshop will empower you to navigate the job market with confidence. You will learn about effective methods for finding job opportunities, including online resources, networking and using LinkedIn.

Gain valuable insight how your personal values, skills and interests will guide you in making the best career choices.

When: 3 – 4:15 p.m.

LinkedIn is an essential tool in building your network of professionals and marketing yourself to employers. 

Get valuable tips on how you can build and optimize your LinkedIn profile to highlight your skills. You will also learn about LinkedIn etiquette to make a good impression on your future connections!
