Student ID and OPUS cards

Student ID card

Your student ID card allows you to access services on campus such as the library,  health services, the shuttle bus, printing documents using DPrint, writing your exams and more. 

How to get a student ID card

  1. Be registered for a course for at least 24 hours

  2. Come to the Birks Student Service Centre with the following: 

    • One valid piece of photo ID (Canadian drivers license or health insurance card, or passport)

    • Your student ID number, which can be found on your Offer of Admission

Initial student ID cards cost $11.90, which is billed to your student account. Expired cards can be exchanged free of charge.

Lost cards

  1. Check in with the front desk of Birks to find out if it has been found on campus 

  2. If not, a new card can be made at Birks

Should you need a replacement card, a $15.50 charge will apply.

OPUS card 

Get a 40% reduced fare for Montreal metro and bus with a student OPUS card.

How to get your card?

  • Verify your full-time status (registered for 12 credits per term or 24 credits over both fall and winter terms)
  • Please note, a waitlisted course does not count towards credits registered
  • Have a valid mailing address in the province of Quebec
  • Hold a valid Concordia ID card
  • Apply for your registered OPUS card online or in person
