Adèle Morvannou is a professor at the University of Sherbrooke (Canada).  She has been collaborating with the team's Research Chair on Gambling and HERMES since 2013, producing multiple events and publications on various topics such as evaluating associations between passion and gambling problems, understanding the trajectories and risk factors of gambling problems among poker players, as well as exploring the women gamblers' help-seeking behaviours in the general population.

Her research aims to understand the trajectories and experiences of women who have experienced or are experiencing negative consequences related to gambling, to understand the implication of stigma in women's help-seeking, and to assess the adequacy between the services offered and women's needs.
