Dr. Grohmann’s research examines consumer responses to branding and social responsibility, as well as the impact of gender in the consumption context from a consumer psychology perspective. Dr. Grohmann has published in the Journal of Marketing Research, Journal of Marketing, Journal of Consumer Psychology, Journal of Retailing, and Journal of the Academy of Marketing Science, among others. She has presented her work at international and national conferences, including conferences of the Association for Consumer Research (ACR), the Society for Consumer Psychology (SCP), the European Academy of Marketing (EMAC), the European Association for Consumer Research (EACR), and the Administrative Sciences Association of Canada (ASAC).

Dr. Grohmann has been awarded research grants by the Fonds de recherche du Québéc - société et culture (FRQSC), the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council of Canada (SSHRC), and the Canadian Foundation for Innovation (CFI).

Dr. Grohmann's teaching at the undergraduate and graduate level focuses on branding as well as consumer research methods. Graduate students under her supervision explore branding, social responsibility and gender-related topics.
