Résidence Céline Bureau

Mission/mandate/about the organisation

Céline Bureau is a non-profit artist residency in Tiohtià:ke/Montréal. Our mandate is to provide a bilingual shared workspace (both physical and online) to research and develop ideas and/or practices and to be a collaborative network amongst artists.

The residency is open to all self-identifying artists, writers and curators (visual, literary, curatorial, theatre, dance, performance, film, new media, organizational, etc.), with an active professional practice. We encourage collaboration, experimentation, conversation, critique, flexibility and work-in-process.

Context of the internship

Céline Bureau is looking for a someone who is interested in gaining experience in non-profit arts management, communications, and organizational coordination. Bilingual, and interdisciplinary.

Examples of internship responsibilities could include: social media promotion of Céline Bureau events, graphic design, running our tool library program, hosting events for members, running a crit group, curatorial initiatives, etc.
