Department of Decision Sciences and Management Information Systems changes its name

The John Molson School of Business (JMSB) has announced that its Department of Decision Science and Management Information Systems will be renamed the Department of Supply Chain and Business Technology Management. The change, effective immediately, was recently approved by Concordia’s Board of Governors and Senate upon recommendation of the department and JMSB Faculty Council.

“The evolution of the disciplines that fall within the purview of the department has required that its program offerings be adapted in order to remain current, and that they be renamed appropriately,” said JMSB Dean Steve Harvey. “The changing of the department’s name is the final step in the process of ensuring that our program offerings are clear and well understood by JMSB stakeholders.”
