Elisabeth Belliveau

Born in Antigonish, NS, Elisabeth completed a BFA at ACAD  and an MFA at Concordia University. She is an interdisciplinary artist and a published author of four graphic novels. She has exhibited and screened her work internationally, most recently at Studio 44 Stockholm and with Eyeworks Experimental Animation Festival in Brooklyn, LA, and Chicago. Belliveau has attended residencies including Banff Centre, WSW NY, Tokyo Wondersite, RAVI -Belgium, ONF/NFB, Youkobo and Studio Kura Japan. Her current work explores contemporary still life primarily through stop-motion animation and sculpture. She will be participating in Manif’d’art 2019 in Québec City and has an upcoming solo exhibition at Gallery 44 Toronto.
