October 23, 2017

Former MA student, Jocelyn Parr has recently published a novel, entitled Uncertain Weights and Measures (Goose Lane Editions, September 2017), which has been shortlisted for the Governor General's award for fiction.

One reviewer writes as follows: "An illuminating and assured debut. Parr deftly incorporates her historical research into an affecting story about a young woman grappling with the tense intersections between art and science, politics and idealism, duty and love." — Catherine Cooper, author of White Elephant
