Award winner Meghri Bakarian

Meghri Bakarian, an undergraduate student in Child Studies, received an Outstanding Contribution to University Life award from the Concordia Council on Student Life, for her work mentoring other student refugees and her involvement in the Syrian Students Association and Armenian Students Association at Concordia. Meghri also received the Louyse Lussier Award.  

In addition, Meghri was awarded the Lieutenant Governor of Quebec's Youth Medal, "demonstrating sustained voluntary action at the community and social levels".
