In the media: Are we Passing Down our Math Anxiety?

Associate Professor Helena Osana talks to CJAD radio Montreal's Andrew Carter about a new study in the Journal of Psychological Science that suggests that parents with math anxiety can pass these fears down to their kids. Though it's unclear just how the transfer takes place, Osana suggests that developing strategies to manage anxiety and avoid negative messaging about math can help reduce this anxiety transfer.
