The 2024 Master of Design Research-Creation Symposium comprises the work of 9 graduating students exploring topics of agency, repercussions, embodiment, and mediation within design, through both practical and theoretical means. Collectively, these projects examine the role of design in shaping new methods of thinking, and how research within the field can influence behavior.

This exhibition will not only showcase the MDes graduating students’ work, but also host multiple events throughout the four days, including talks, workshops, and industry creatives presenting their work. These events will allow current students and alumni to be exposed to various points of view on design and design education, as well as have the chance to meet experienced designers and educators.
