Join us for a panel and community discussion featuring four actors in sustainability within Concordia as well as a Ugandan social enterprise transforming plastic waste. We will have speakers from CEED Concordia, Takataka Plastics, Concordia Precious Plastics (CP3), and Concordia University Center for Creative Reuse (CUCCR) all working towards similar goals in differing contexts: limiting and upcycling plastic waste while creating both educational and work opportunities in sustainability.

After the panel discussion participants will then be invited to tour our waste diversion spaces (CP3 and CUCCR) and an afternoon "Climate Fresk" workshop and a sustainable upcycled product market.

The organizing of this panel discussion has also been the catalyst for a Concordia-wide delegation to the United Nations Environment Program Plastic Pollution Negotiations taking place in Ottawa in late April.

How can you participate? Join us in person or online by registering for the Zoom Meeting or watching live on YouTube.
