Sustainable Snapshots offers visitors a look into how Concordians are taking part in sustainable initiatives at the university and in the community. Highlights from this exciting exhibition include:
Stop by a photo essay conceived and put together by Lisa Graves, a photographer for University Communications Services at Concordia. Graves took photos of Concordians participating in Montreal's Climate Change March on September 27 and asked participants for quotes about what the event was important for them. The photo essay also includes protest signs from the day.
Interested in Concordia's sustainability plans in recent years? This section of the exhibition offers visitors a chronological overview of sustainability planning at the university, from the time Concordia adopted its sustainability policy in 2016 to the planned release of its Sustainability Action Plan in winter 2020.
Learn more about the people doing work around the stream topics included in Concordia's forthcoming Sustainability Action Plan: food, waste, climate change, research and curriculum.
Check out an interactive collection of sustainability tips from the Concordia community. Community members can visit wooclap.com/sustainability to submit a tip, including information on adopting more sustainable behaviours, favorite on-campus sustainability services, information on sustainability advocacy campaigns and more. Visitors to the 4TH space can view the collection of tips and contribute in real time using their smartphones.
