South Asia | Concordia Alumni

As summer’s end signals the start of a new academic term on our campuses, I’m excited to bring you some updates from the Concordia community.

I’m thrilled to announce two initiatives aimed at enhancing alumni engagement: Women Who LEAD and Welcome to the City.

Women Who LEAD is a dynamic platform designed to facilitate connections and the exchange of ideas and expertise among graduates. This initiative embodies Concordia’s commitment to empowering and supporting women in our community and beyond, fostering an environment where knowledge and insights flow freely.

Welcome to the City is another endeavor that brings the spirit of Concordia right to your doorstep. Launching first in London, New York and Toronto, this program ensures that our new alumni are warmly embraced by fellow graduates in their respective cities of residence. It’s an exceptional way to strengthen bonds and establish a sense of belonging, even in new surroundings.

We also have a lineup of exciting Homecoming events planned for the start of the fall term. These celebrations will offer a blend of nostalgia and new connections, as we come together to mark our shared experiences and accomplishments.

What’s more, an event of profound significance is on the horizon: the fifth anniversary of the Gina Cody School of Engineering and Computer Science. This milestone is an opportunity to showcase our commitment to innovation and impactful research and education, and to celebrate the transformative philanthropy of our alumna, Gina Cody, MEng 81, PhD 89.

I’d like to extend my gratitude for your support and active involvement with Concordia. Your dedication contributes immensely to the vibrancy of our community.

Enjoy the rest of your summer and may the fall season bring you renewed inspiration, connections and growth.

Warm regards,

Leisha LeCouvie
