STUDENT ADVOCACY OFFICE
Since 1992, we have been offering confidential advocacy services, free of charge, to students facing academic charges or behavioural complaints, or making academic requests.
We also support faculty and students with education on academic integrity and provide preventive strategies to avoid academic misconduct.
How we help students
Have you been charged?
As a Concordia student, you are bound by the Academic Code of Conduct and the Policy for the Responsible Conduct of Research. We can help you navigate any academic or research charge made against you.
Making academic requests
Notations (late DNE / DISC; MED; INC), failed standing, grade re-evaluations, exam deferrals, credit transfers, tuition refunds, GAAT and May Not Continue (for graduate students).
Behavioural complaints
Report inappropriate actions or behaviour of a member of the Concordia community or respond to a complaint that relates to the Code of Rights and Responsibilities.
How we help faculty
We can offer tailored in-class presentations to promote academic integrity to your students.
Students: Avoid being charged under the Code
Use preventive measures to avoid academic misconduct.
