Requesting a Screener Copy for Research Purposes
If access to a film for your research is unavailable through the resources offered by the Library or the Visual Collections Repository, verify the following options:
- verify the availability at other universities and attempt to gain access through Interlibrary loans;
- reach out to the film's distributor to request a screener copy.
The following resource is an email template that you can use and adapt to request screener copies.
If your attempts are unsucssessful, you can complete the "Suggest a Purchase" form for research purposes. These requests will be included in a desiderata list and subsequently reviewed for potential acquisition.
