Discover the MA in Child Studies, where you’ll explore children’s development and learning- from emotion, language, literacy, numeracy, to play and moral development -while examining the critical role that families, peers, schools, inclusive practices, communities and culture play. Gain hands-on research experience using quantitative, qualitative, mixed method, and arts-based approaches with access to our Observation Nursery to study children’s learning processes. With individualized faculty mentorship, you’ll connect theory to practice through an internship project or thesis and build experience in diverse settings serving children and families in both English and French.
