Description: The Theo Shuffle Award is inspired by the Concordia Shuffle and created by the Department of Theological Studies for a deserving student. This in-course scholarship shall be granted through competition, based on academic merit to full-time students pursuing a Major or Honors program in the Department of Theological studies who must have completed a minimum of 9 credits in Theological Studies.

Program: Major or Honors Program in Theological Studies focusing on pastoral studies

Description: This in-course scholarship shall be granted through competition, based on academic merit to students pursuing a BA degree with a Major or Honors in Theology, focusing on pastoral studies with a preference, but not exclusive to, the purpose of serving the Christian community.

The scholarship is renewable so long as the recipient maintains a minimum GPA of 3.30 and continues to meet the terms and conditions of the award.

Program: Recipients can be full-time or part-time, pursuing a Master’s degree in Theological Studies. Selected recipients must provide a paragraph or two outlining how their research involves the use of the Lonergan collection and/or on the life of Bernard Lonergan.

Description: The Bernard Lonergan Award is intended to encourage and reward graduate students pursuing a Master of Arts in the Department of Theological Studies whose research involves making use of the Lonergan collection and/or on the life of Bernard Lonergan.

Program: Eligible applicants must be full-time, pursuing a Master’s or a Phd in the Individualized Program that includes the Department of THEO.

Description: This award is created in memory of Monsignor Andrew Sinal by the Slovak Catholic Church of Ascension Eastern Rite (Byzantine) in Montreal, for his exemplary service to the parish.

Applicants may be required to submit a confidential statement of financial need.
