Peer-to-peer reflection

Period equity on Concordia campuses

The anxiety of starting your period in public is something many can relate to. Menstruation can be a stressful experience, including the financial stress of paying for pads and tampons. The average Canadian who menstruates spends more than $65 a year on period products.

CU Wellness is committed to period equity. We believe everyone who needs menstrual products should have access to them.

Across campus, many washrooms have free menstrual product dispensers. Plus, every Zen Den is stocked with free pads, tampons and condoms. You can also learn more about menstrual health and sustainable periods in our workshops!

With less stress about accessing period care, we can get back to what really matters.

Wishing you good luck in your courses,
