Dear FNAME, Concordia is joining institutions around the world in adopting multi-factor authentication (MFA) to keep digital assets, information and user identities safe. MFA means using something other than a single username and password to access your account. This summer, you will be prompted to set up MFA on your Microsoft 365 alumni account. This will require the use of a personal mobile device or phone number to complete an MFA challenge. For more information about MFA and how it works, see the following guide. To avoid any service interruptions, please ensure you are using a modern email client, such as Outlook, that supports MFA. To verify that you are using a modern email client and for instructions on how to upgrade, see the following support page. With cybersecurity threats becoming increasingly sophisticated, MFA is a valuable tool that will help reduce the risk of your account being accessed by someone other than yourself. Thank you for your collaboration. Mike Popoff |
