Report launch: Transforming Montreal in time of crisis

Thursday, December 8, 5 - 7 p.m.

  • How has the COVID-19 crisis transformed Montreal?
  • How did community organizers and activists across the city respond to the crisis in ways that pushed for increased justice, equity and sustainability in how this city functions?

These are some of the questions at the heart of a two-year research project led by Dr. Jen Gobby, Concordia Geography Department affiliate professor, in partnership with SHIFT and community organizers across Montreal.

The event will include a presentation by Jen Gobby about the findings of the research as well as a panel discussion featuring community organizers who were involved in the project.
