Exams do's and don'ts

While all students should be aware of the Academic Code of Conduct, here are some of the tips that you should take special note of during the examination period:

Do:
  • Arrive on time
  • Read the rules before signing the exam booklet
  • Ask the invigilator if you have questions/issues
  • Empty your pockets of unauthorized materials
  • Use a faculty permitted calculator
Don’t:
  • Keep cell phones or other devices on your person (even switched off)
  • Rip or tamper with the exam booklet
  • Have study notes in your possession
  • Look at another person’s exam
  • Talk or communicate with peers
