Co-operative education

The MBA Co-operative education program offers students the opportunity to participate in paid internships in Canada, the US or abroad, for one semester.

CEO shadowing — unique to the John Molson School of Business — is the opportunity to learn to lead by shadowing a top executive. This special feature of the Co-op paid internship program allows both full-time and part-time MBA students to work alongside the CEO of a small or medium-sized enterprise for up to 15 weeks.

Requirements

The Co-op program is a non-credit option and is offered only to John Molson MBA students who:

  • Have a CGPA of 3.3 or higher

MBA Co-op students typically complete one work term (4 months).

Application process

Students should apply to the Institute for Co-operative Education before having completed 15 credits in the MBA Program.

Information about eligibility and application can be found at: Graduate Co-op (concordia.ca)

MBA Students must have completed 8 courses (24 credits) of the program before going on a work term.
