Specialization in Music Performance (BFA)

Why pursue music performance studies?

The Specialization in Music Performance Studies provides an academic program and ample performance opportunities to students with a strong desire to develop their skills as a soloist and ensemble performer. Private Study courses culminate in a public performance, and students have frequent informal concerts throughout the year. Ensemble courses cover repertoire from the classical to the contemporary, and can include collaborations with students in electroacoustic studies, composition, and other performing and visual arts. Performances take place in various venues around the city as well as the beautiful Oscar Peterson Concert Hall located on Concordia's Loyola Campus.
