Dear CEGEP professor or guidance counselor

We are excited to announce a new summer workshop that we are offering to a small number of participants as a pilot project.

The Summer Acting Workshop will introduce students to the basic skills and concepts of acting for the stage. The underlying philosophy of this workshop is that engaging in a selection of the exercises and activities of student actors will stimulate the creative process of each student, and that this, in turn, might bring a more creative and enlightened approach to other disciplines in a student’s global education and personal life skills. Learning outcomes include: a greater sense of personal presence; active listening skills; collaborative group skills; the ability to be more socially courageous; empathy and a greater ability to connect with others.
