Dear colleagues,

It was great to see so many of you at our VPSS Town Hall Meeting held on Wednesday, April 24. I was delighted to celebrate our sector’s successes and discuss pivotal topics and challenges with you.

Let’s keep the conversation going

Do you have ideas for our sector’s future? We want to hear from you! Share your thoughts by using one of the tools below:

  • Send us an email.
  • Complete the feedback form which you can access on the right side of the sector’s landing page.
  • Post in the new VPSS Teams channel (you will have received an invitation through Teams).

At the town hall, we asked all teams to work on their respective visions as well as to identify areas where efficiencies can be realized. Once that is completed, we will get back to you with the next steps.

Coming soon: budget conversations

Take part in upcoming budget conversations hosted by Anne Whitelaw, Provost and Vice-President, Academic, and Denis Cossette, Chief Financial Officer. These sessions will give you an opportunity to learn more about the 2024-25 operating budget, as well as a chance to ask questions.

Details about the times and locations for the budget conversations will be shared with the university community in the coming weeks.

Thank you for your presence and participation at our town hall and I look forward to the opportunity to come together again as a sector in a near future.

Sincerely,

Michael Di Grappa
Vice-President, Services and Sustainability
