Cspace search improvements are coming

Cspace will soon feature a 'faceted search' which will let users quickly filter search results into categories in order to find the pages they're searching for.

The algorithms need your help!

Behind the scenes as an AEM user, you will need to start selecting categories for new pages you create – this will allow the search filters to find your pages.

The UCS web team will add existing pages to the appropriate categories and you will receive instructions on how to select categories for your new pages.

We'll be sending you more details in the coming weeks!

USEFUL TIPS

Sushi in the sandbox

The login page of the AEM training environment (also known as the sandbox) has a new look. This should help AEM users seeking the production environment to know when they've taken a wrong turn.

Just remember: if you go to AEM and it looks a bit fishy, you're in the wrong place!

Training

The next basic training session is on Wednesday, April 19. If you have staff who need training, send them to Cspace.

Users can choose from self-directed, semi self-directed or in-person basic training, according to their needs and schedule.

Check out the schedule for available courses, then click on "Sign me up!" to register. When you do, you'll see that there are Open Sessions: these are training events where the topic is decided by the first person to register!

Still have questions? Shoot an email to webtraining@concordia.ca and we can help.
