A thank you to the FutureBound community

After nine incredible years, I'm stepping away from my role leading FutureBound.

It has been a privilege to build this program alongside an inspiring community of students, facilitators, colleagues and partners. Watching FutureBound grow from a small pilot into a university-wide program — and seeing thousands of students build confidence, develop new skills and discover new possibilities — has been the highlight of my career.

To our amazing students: thank you for your curiosity, enthusiasm and willingness to step outside your comfort zone. You are the reason FutureBound exists. You've continually inspired us to listen, adapt and create programming that meets your needs.

I’m thrilled to share that Zaccary Dyck is taking the helm of FutureBound as Coordinator. Many of you already know him through his work at Concordia’s District 3 Innovation Hub, as a FutureBound facilitator and SkillXchange leader. I know the program is in excellent hands.

We’re looking for two enthusiastic Concordia students to join our team this fall:

Communications Assistant

The Communications Assistant plays a key role in rallying our student participants, partners and supporters, as well as communicating our impact to key stakeholders.

This role is ideal for a student with strong writing skills, a strategic mindset and an interest in how communications can support student success, partnership-building and funding development.

Program Assistant

The Program Assistant will support FutureBound’s day-to-day operations and ensure participants experience productive learning environments. This role is ideal for an organized, enthusiastic student with strong interpersonal skills, attention to detail and a genuine interest in helping others succeed.
