Dear FNAME,

It’s that time of year — Giving Tuesday is coming up on December 2! And as communities around the world prepare to support causes that matter, now’s the time to get ready.

At Concordia, we once again shine a spotlight on a fund that addresses urgent student need: Student Emergency and Food Fund.

This vital resource helps students facing food insecurity and unexpected financial hardship. It helps mitigate rising living costs and helps students afford basic necessities like groceries and hygiene items.

Ready to give now?

This Giving Tuesday, we’re asking: What’s in your basket?

The next time you go grocery shopping, ask yourself: What would you put back on the shelf if you only had half as much to spend? And would you consider donating to the Student Emergency and Food Fund, so that a Concordia student in need can put a similar item in their basket?

You don’t need to wait until Giving Tuesday to support the campaign; consider making your Giving Tuesday gift today!

If you prefer to take this occasion to support a different area of the university, consider other options.

Stay tuned for more information on this year’s Giving Tuesday campaign during the coming weeks.

If you’d like to opt out of this year’s Giving Tuesday campaign, let us know by replying to this email. Your name will be removed from Giving Tuesday emails until December 2.
